Calling all coffee lovers! Ever wondered how a silky-smooth milk chocolate would taste with an extra crunch of Guatemala coffee roasted right here in Wales’ beautiful Snowdonia landscapes? Well then, you’re in luck as you can get your hands on all of this in our featured flavour Mochaccino Chocolate Buttons. Not only did these giant coffee flavoured buttons win a 1-star great taste award in 2018 but they are still one of our best sellers to date.
Thanks to our friends over at Poblado Coffi we can attain ethically sourced coffee which is beautifully balanced with malic acidity and a rich syrupy body. Poblado Coffi are based in Quarrymen’s barracks in Nantlle, overlooking the stunning Snowdonia valleys, and work closely with suppliers all over the world who maintain the same ethical views as them. The Guatemala coffee used in our Mochaccino Buttons comes from a farm (Finca La Bolsa) in La Libertad, Huehuetenango and sits between two mountains allowing them to get the right balance and taste which emerges perfectly in our chocolate buttons. La Bolsa is RFA certified and follows C.A.F.E guidelines meaning they follow the three production methods of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental and have measures in place to ensure these are consistent. If your interested in learning more about their ethics or perhaps you would like to try some of their delicious coffee, you can find them at https://pobladocoffi.co.uk/.
