CocoPzazz Founder
I became an accidental chocolate maker in 2013. The original plan was that Coco Pzazz would help to fund a “not for profit” horse rescue and rehoming organisation that I set up. We closed the centre to focus on Coco Pzazz BUT I still have 8 rescue horses at home and we regularly support equine charities with fundraising events.
I really enjoy the process of developing delicious flavour combinations - and then selecting fab artwork for the packaging! Recently, when asked why we have an Ice Cream Van on one of our boxes, I just replied “Because we can” - that sort of sums Coco Pzazz up. We don’t always do the expected.
The company ethos is also very important. Our chocolate is all sustainably grown and fully traceable. Increasingly we are using chocolate and ingredients that are processed at source. This creates wealth in the country of origin rather than in the traditional European chocolate centres. Look out for chocolate products from Madagascar and Colombia.
I also host chocolate tasting events at Coco HQ - talking all things chocolate with groups from primary school age upwards.
Coco Pzazz is not all about profit - as our long suffering accountants will tell you. Doing what feels right, tastes wonderful and looks great is just as important!
When I am not working I enjoy spending time at home with my horses and being out and about in the mid-Wales landscape.
