A collaboration between Welsh art and chocolate has resulted in a new range of bilingual packaging for Coco Pzazz chocolates. Driftwood Designs, known for their stunning artwork, has teamed up with Coco Pzazz to create packaging that is both visually appealing and eco-friendly. The packaging is completely bilingual, featuring Welsh greetings and descriptions alongside English, even down to the nutritional information.
Coco Pzazz founder Lorraine Whinn (Lori) has long admired Lizzie Spikes's (Driftwood Designs' artist) work, stating, "They aren’t just pretty and colourful, they are also a little irreverent, and whenever I see them, I want to smile. Just like tasting great chocolate – they bring happiness."
The four bespoke designs are:
- Croeso - Crunchy Coffee (Roasted in Eryri) milk chocolate bar
- Cariad - Bara Brith flavour chocolate - gently spiced with dried fruit
- Dragon - Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate (Welsh sea salt of course!)
- “Love my Dog” - 70% dark chocolate
This collaboration highlights the shared Welsh heritage of both companies, their commitment to eco-friendly practices, and their all-female teams.
Lizzie Spikes commented on the collaboration, expressing her excitement about creating the designs and watching customers enjoy the chocolate. Lorraine Whinn added, "This collaboration with Driftwood Designs is bound to see customers ‘buying with their eyes’ more than ever."
